01Who we are
Oraku is a studio for making short AI videos. It is made by Joyolabs Inc ("we", "us"). These terms are the deal between you and us when you use Oraku at oraku.com. Our privacy policy says what we collect and why.
02Who may use Oraku
You must be 18 or older. By using Oraku you say that you are.
03Your account
You sign in with Google, or with an e-mail address and a password. Keep your sign-in safe: what happens in your account is on you. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms.
04Credits
- Each video costs credits. Oraku shows how many before you start it.
- Credits you buy are for use on Oraku only. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or moved to another account, and are not refunded, except where the law says they must be.
- Credits never expire, from a plan or a top-up.
- If a run fails, its credits come back to you. A clip that came out but is not what you hoped for is not a failed run.
- Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Our payment processor takes the payment.
05Monthly plans
- A plan gives you new credits every month. It renews each month, on the day you started it, and charges your card each time, until you cancel.
- An offer on a first month is for that month only. The months after it are at the regular price.
- To cancel: open the Credits page and press Manage plan. You can cancel any time. The plan keeps running to the end of the month you paid for, then stops. There is no refund for the rest of that month.
- Credits you already got stay in your account after the plan ends.
- If a monthly payment fails, we try your card again for a while. If it still fails, the plan ends.
06What you may upload
- Upload only footage and pictures you have the right to use.
- If people are in them, they agreed to it.
- Never put anyone under 18 into a Recast.
- Nothing illegal, hateful or sexual.
- If you upload something you had no right to, that is on you, not us.
We may remove any content and close any account that breaks these rules, without warning.
07What you make
The clips you make are yours to use. We keep them, with your prompts and pictures, so you can find them again in your library.
08Community templates
- If you publish a clip as a template, you let us show it to everyone on Oraku: the clip, the video it was made from, its prompt and your user name. We show it only after we approve it.
- You can take it down any time with Remove template in your library. Clips other people already made from it stay theirs.
- Anyone signed in can report a template. We may hide or remove any template.
- When others recreate your template, you may earn credits, up to a daily limit. These are credits, never money. We can change how much you earn, change the limit, or end this at any time.
09Our video providers
To make your video, we send your prompt, pictures and footage to our video providers. They make the video and send it back to us.
10Changes and availability
We keep improving Oraku, so features, models and prices can change, and some may stop. Oraku may sometimes be down. If we change these terms, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using Oraku after that, the new terms apply.
11Our responsibility
- Oraku is offered as it is. We work to keep it running well, but we cannot promise it always works, or that every video comes out right.
- As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost profits, lost data or other indirect losses.
- As far as the law allows, the most we owe you for any claim is what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
- Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you where you live.
12The law that applies
These terms follow the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. If we disagree, write to us first; most things can be fixed that way.
